About The Role
Born Interactive is looking for a UX/UI Designer who is passionate about visual communication and user experience. You should be a highly creative individual with a sharp eye for details. Someone who is eager to learn and to grow.
In your capacity as a UX/UI Designer, you will report and work closely with the UX Lead, developers, and client servicing teams, to create and develop content and digital platforms that help Born Interactive achieve its objectives.
Job Description
- Deliver the best online user experience providing an exceptional and intuitive design.
- Design ideas using various methods and latest technology
- Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements
- Understand the full project life-cycle – from brief and pitch to usability (UX), design (UI) and build
- Be a key player in pitches, working closely with assigned teams to deliver and win new business
- Work from scratch on pure design-led projects, creating a range of cross-platform design work
- Work collaboratively with cross functional creative, client servicing and development teams to deliver digital output of the highest quality and to brief
- Stay on track with emerging digital trends and culture
- Articulate and present creative ideas/treatments to teams and clients
- Show proven understanding of UX, UI, typography, layout, color and grid structures
- Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommending improvements if necessary
- Create visual concepts that match the content and the image wanted by the clients but that fit in the product/brand global image; ensure that sites are easy to navigate
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a digital or communication agency
- University degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or other relevant disciplines
- Strong understanding of digital tools (sketching, prototyping, user-testing) and integrated marketing campaigns
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (this could include Photoshop, After Effects, Indesign and Illustrator)
- Knowledge/understanding of HTML and CSS limitations and possibilities
- Excellent creative instincts with a solid understanding of design, photography, typography, and layouts
- Knowledge in taking briefs and insights and formulating them into ideas and visuals that answer client objectives
Compensation
- Package is paid in fresh funds
- Full salary depends on competencies and qualifications
- After a 3-month probation period, private medical insurance coverage, full-fresh, within the company’s group insurance plan
Location
- Position based in Beirut, Lebanon, with occasional travel
- Work from Home possible during Covid-19 outbreak
Candidates should be able to show outstanding organizational skills and keen attention to detail. They have to communicate clearly and concisely with diverse audiences, in both oral and written contexts, and show a flexible attitude towards the agency's departments, teams and clients.
